Swap Rates at Finvexas
Understand overnight financing and the swap adjustments that may apply to positions held across a trading day.
What Are Swap Fees?
Swap fees, also known as rollover fees, are financing adjustments that may apply when you hold a trading position overnight. A position opened and closed before rollover normally does not incur overnight financing.
Depending on the instrument and whether your position is long (buy) or short (sell), the adjustment can be a debit or a credit. Rates can change with market conditions.
The platform’s configured triple-swap day is Wednesday. Instrument and provider schedules may differ, especially around holidays.
For instruments with swap rates quoted in points:
Swap = Lots × Contract Size × Point Size × Swap RateSwap Fee Examples
These hypothetical examples illustrate the point-based formula. They are not live rates or a statement of your account’s charges.
Lots × Contract Size × Point Size × Swap Rate
2 × 100 × 0.01 × −144.05 = −288.10 USD
Lots × Contract Size × Point Size × Swap Rate
5 × 1 × 0.01 × −42 = −2.10 USD
Lots × Contract Size × Point Size × Swap Rate
1 × 100,000 × 0.001 × −63.92 = −6,392 JPY
Bank holidays can affect rollover periods. Review the market calendar and your instrument’s current specifications.
